VHF SRC Marine Radio Interactive

CHF Tuition

Price is £80 per person.

If you booked your Interactive Course through another training centre then we charge £45 for setting up the test.

In either case, there is an additional £60 payable to the RYA for the test and licence. You can pay this fee through us to make it easier if you wish.

On-line Interactive: When you book with us we will give you a User Name, Password and web address to go to our on-line facility to take the training. Since the interactive site is effectively "one to one" it will take less than the stipulated 10 hours, (most people will take 6 hours). You will still have to come to our approved training centre for the examination which we normally carry out at approximately 4.30pm on the same day of a classroom course. Examinations on other dates and times can be arranged to suit your diary and ours.

VHF HandbookCourse Pack: On payment of the course fee, we will send you a delegate pack which will include the RYA VHF Radio Handbook, (G31), phonetic alphabet study sheet, distress message form and Interactive Training user name and password. The user name and password will also be sent by email along with the web address for the course.

When you have completed the Online VHF Radio course you will be issued with a course completion number that will have to be passed to the RYA Training centre that delivers your SRC examination. The RYA normally expect you to take your VHF SRC Assessment at the same centre which organised your interactive training. Assessments at other recognised training centres will be subject to availability.
