The rooms are separate to each other but share a common veranda. The veranda has superb open views of the Grand Union Canal and open Warwickshire countryside. In the warmer months, a table and chairs are available to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Bring your own food and drink but if you prefer to eat out then The Boat Inn is just five minutes walk away in one direction and the village of Stockton, with shop, Chinese takeaway and public house is 10 minutes walk in the other direction. Things To Do

Based in the centre of the country, Nelson's Wharf is an ideal base to visit many Midlands tourist locations such as Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. If you prefer to leave the car and go walking or cycling then Nelson's is surrounded by countryside with lots of routes including some delightful walks along the Grand Union Canal towpath.

The Wharf is on the bank of the canal so is a really tranquil place and there is nothing better than sitting back and watching the boats go past on a summer's day.

There is also plenty of wildlife at the wharf from locally nesting Buzzards to breeding Small Blue Butterflies. Part of Nelson's land includes the Stockton Cutting SSSI and nature reserve.
